Hyaluronidase is an injectable enzyme used to dissolve hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler safely and effectively. It helps break down unwanted filler in areas where correction, refinement, or a reset is needed.
It is commonly used to treat filler migration, overfilling, unevenness, lumps, or results that no longer feel balanced. Hyaluronidase allows the area to return to a more natural state before future adjustments or refill if desired.
We assess the area, review your concerns, and determine if dissolving is the best approach for correction or refinement.
Hyaluronidase is carefully injected into the targeted area to break down unwanted hyaluronic acid filler.
The area is reviewed as the filler dissolves. Additional sessions may be needed depending on the amount of filler and desired result.
For the first 24 hours, avoid heavy exercise, excessive heat (such as saunas or hot tubs), alcohol, and excessive touching or pressure on the treated area. This helps reduce swelling and supports proper healing.
Mild swelling, tenderness, or redness can be normal and usually settles within a few days. Following your practitioner’s aftercare instructions will help ensure the best possible result.
At Lavana each session of Filler Dissolve is $200
Hyaluronidase works only on hyaluronic acid-based fillers, such as Stylage. It is used to safely dissolve unwanted filler, correct migration, or refine results when adjustment is needed.
It does not dissolve biostimulators like Sculptra or Radiesse.
Most clients describe hyaluronidase treatment as quick and very tolerable. You may feel mild stinging or pressure during the injections, but discomfort is usually minimal and short-lived.
A topical numbing cream can be used when needed to help keep the treatment as comfortable as possible.
This depends on the amount of filler present and the area treated. Some clients may achieve full dissolving in one session, while others may require additional treatments.
